Schloss-Teichhaus in Moritzburg

Today on December 12th, 2020 I brought our dinner home due to corona closure. I had ordered leg of goose with dumplings and red cabbage. And now it comes: It was a culinary delight at its finest. Many thanks to the hosts. We wish you that you get through this bad time well. Please support!!!

This was our last meal before the November lockdown - and we were not disappointed. On the contrary: someone here knows his trade. The selection is not extensive, but all dishes were lovingly and finesse prepared in a short time. We especially liked the details, e.g. Fresh herbs on the food, that the food was really hot and came straight from the kitchen to the table, that the potato rösti were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, etc. Actually a matter of course, but unfortunately now in short supply in many restaurants. The red wine was also very good and in the small carafe a little more than you normally get in a restaurant when you order a glass. Nice! And it's a shame that we now have to wait until we are served so well again ...

Small restaurant with a cozy dining room, friendly staff. The venison goulash with the sauce was very successful, as was the red cabbage. Only the so-called Thuringian dumplings tasted too bland for me. Overall, definitely to be recommended.

Food was delicious. Chef (cook) was very friendly. We recommend. The carriage ride with Rolf too.

This café offers a dreamy idyll. The service is very friendly and quick. Everything is very clean, only the ashtray was not emptied. The solyanka is very tasty. Bread would have been great. The baked camembert was a dream. Homemade and with a wonderfully crispy breading. But be careful: 200g of fat caused diarrhea the next morning.

The Teichhaus is a small, beautiful restaurant with a very friendly owner couple, very good food and an incredibly good and tasty schnitzel! We will be back definitely!! Highly Recommended!

After the visit we could enjoy our meal there in the sun. The exterior was picturesque in contrast to the parking lot. The old carriage captivated me with its well-preserved details.

I visited the pond house once for lunch and once for dinner and was very satisfied. Both dishes were excellent and freshly prepared. The service is very friendly. Tastefully decorated inside.

Nice outside area, inside a bit pale for our taste. The waiter was friendly but overwhelmed and hectic when we visited. We had to wait 15 minutes for the menu. But the food was really delicious. If you bring some time and serenity with you, it is worth stopping by.

Very nice ... kitchen conjures great quality of the dishes with seasonal consideration and really delicious ?. Despite Corona, the staff go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Were enthusiastic last year and were confirmed again this year. Keep it up sicher will come back for sure ..

Tasty and friendly ??? The fish tasted great. In the summer you sit outside with a beautiful view of the castle. Parking lots available. Always happy.

We came here by accident and it could hardly have been better. The restaurant is quite inconspicuous, but there is next to very friendly service a honest and fresh kitchen.
